The Dixons Carphone Account Director is a senior role which leads a small team across all routes to market for the biggest ‘all-in’ account in Western Europe.

The role is responsible for leading and setting the strategic direction for the account by building sales forecasts and developing a sales plan by defining market share, opportunities for growth, and resource allocation requirements. This person should ultimately be able to create a vision and advise EMEIA management of where Apple in the UKI should go within this account and how to expand market share and revenue.
In order to operate strategically, a key element of this role is relationship management, both internally and externally.

This role involves establishing, maintaining and growing influential C-level relationships within a globally recognised, strategic partner. Internally, the role will involve extensive cross-functional responsibility with other areas of the business including, but not limited to, the local Sales Operations Team, local & EMEiA Retail Programs, Marketing and the Order Management Team in Cork.
This role also involves close collaboration with other Senior Account Managers/Directors as well as significant interaction with VP level and above within the wider business at Apple.

Key Qualifications

Significant C-level Retail and Telco Sales experience
People management - exceptional leadership experience; inspiring, coaching and developing people
Ability to work within and lead a team; collaborate to achieve a shared result
Previous experience positively influencing the performance of a team
Previous experience at a senior level in a complex fast moving organisation
Proven track record of success in the delivery of quotas/targets

Description

Lead a team of three Account Managers to achieve budgeted/targeted sales through across all lines of business, both in the UK and Ireland
Ownership of C-level relationships for the account
Building a comprehensive sales strategy with the partner and gaining full by in for the design and implementation
Positively influencing the wider UKI sales organisation by being a positive role model in all behaviour
Supporting the customer with innovative solutions to customer offerings and experience
To own all aspects of the account forecasting requirements to deliver Account budgets and objectives in line with overall retail and telco objectives on a quarterly basis
To deliver and manage the Terms via the agreed process and channel program marketing budgets for the account
Manage, maintain and continue the development of the commercial awareness of the various markets in the UK where Apple operates and deliver quality cross functional communication in the markets
To deliver an integrated account plan in line with EMEiA business plan, Marcom objectives and retail and telco program objectives, product launch strategy. This will be on a quarterly and annual basis
To deliver a continual program of best practise for the Apple brand in this account, which ensures that all products have maximum exposure and deliverance against agreed channel program branding
To fully integrate with the Field Team to ensure that the Apple branded store program within the account delivers to full potential

Education

Degree preferred.

This role is based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
