The Finance team is responsible for controlling and reporting all income and spend for each of the business areas. It is also responsible for developing our corporate financial strategy, consolidation and management reporting of corporate financial data, accounting and cash management, financial controls, and tax management.

Trading Division (TD) is a new function established in 2013 within the Purchasing organisation to manage the increasingly complex supply chain that results from Jaguar Land Rover's global expansion into international manufacturing. The main function of Trading Division is to enable international supply for Jaguar Land Rover through centralised leadership of the global supply chain management. Trading Division is an exciting fledgling organisation, creating a completely new Profit Centre for a business which is predicted to grow rapidly over the forthcoming years.

International Purchasing and Trading Division Finance sits within the Global Purchasing Finance function (which also incorporates the Purchase Controllers Office). With the guidance from the manager, Internal Controls Coordinator will lead the internal control activities for Trading Division.

Taking on this role, you'll lead the identification of Trading Division applicable risks, controls assessment, and mitigation actions. You'll project manage the implementation of actions to address or mitigate the identified risks, compliance or documentation gaps, and support the development of Trading Division finance and operations process documentation in line with Jaguar Land Rover standards and SOX requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For this role, you'll hold a professional accounting or audit qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or have equivalent experience. Ideally, this would be complemented by experience of having worked within the Sarbanes-Oxley environment and a background in audit, controls, process definition and implementation. Possessing high levels of business acumen, you’ll demonstrate a strong project management and change implementation background. Advanced MS Office skills will also be essential.
