OBJECTIVE

The VP, Sales - EMEA (Information Exchange Group) will report to the World Wide VP of iX Sales and will be based in Europe (UK preferred but will consider other central locations) .This position will be responsible for managing the entire iX sales business throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. You will be responsible for the area’s success in driving new business, building customer loyalty, ensuring high product retention rates and supporting and promoting corporate strategy and initiatives, by building and managing high performance teams, developing and executing area business plans, allocating appropriate resources to highest value customers and developing internal and external relationships.

ROLE

• Provide sales leadership and regional vision for business growth
• Increase sales growth and market penetration while improving operating margins
• Develop and manage business partner expectations so that our offerings are viewed as valuable to the success of their company
• Create and deliver training and impart knowledge to resellers to increase productivity and activity with reseller clients.
• Manage country subsidiary with sales, marketing, service and administrative functions
• Develops marketing strategies and plans
• Keeps abreast of current fiscal and legal issues which may impact company’s business operations
• Achieve and exceed quota expectations
• Develop and implement effective reseller recruitment strategy; Work closely with dormant resellers to reactivate
• Partner with others to provide support to reactivated and new customers in developing business plans, expense budgeting, and marketing plans. Follow and support new customers through first product sale and implementation
• Perform analysis of customer mix by product specialty and develop plan to ensure recruitment efforts target correct mix
• Analyze sales and industry trends and make appropriate recommendations to ensure long-range planning needs are met
• Able to make independent decisions and makes suggestions to upper managers in relation to business services, and processes
• Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational goals, objectives, and budget

Position Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- Progressive sales leadership experience with a tier 1 or 2 enterprise software company including the oversight of second line managers
- Experience leading sale force initiatives across multiple channels to market, including direct sales, channel partners and geographic regions
- A well-developed understanding of the enterprise software industry along with some level of Cloud experience
- Knowledgeable in complex enterprise sales practices
- Demonstrated experience of revenue generation and P/L accountability of upwards of $40M+
