Corporate Communications Manager - Facebook - London

Job description
Facebook is looking for an experienced Head of Corporate Communications to lead our proactive and reactive projects in the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in both corporate and product communications, crisis management, working with senior executives and will be able to balance handling a combination of breaking news and real time requests with managing strategic corporate projects and product announcements.The ability to combine strategy and flawless execution, ruthlessly prioritise and work on a number of projects at once will be essential. This position is based in London.

Responsibilities
Lead the PR strategy, plans, programs and budgets based on brand image, sales objectives and company goals
Provide guidance and assistance in implementing PR strategies and programs to external agencies
Provide mentorship and support for business leaders across the region
Work cross-functionally with product, platform, policy, monetization and other international PR team members on individual media opportunities and broader programs
Support brand/corporate reputation through crisis/issues effective management
Proactively identify and pitch stories that showcase Facebook's culture and business
Prepare briefing materials and manage executive spokespeople
Educate press, bloggers, analysts and influencers about core Facebook products and initiatives

Requirements
Undergraduate or equivalent qualification is preferable
Solid professional experience, in communications or journalism
Deep media relationships
Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver campaigns and projects through collaborative and multi-disciplinary teamwork
Expertise in managing PR agencies and contractors
Proven ability to work with and influence a range of stakeholders
Strong project management and decision-making skills
